The Cherry Valley Fire Protection District (the “District”), covers Winnebago and Boone Counties, Illinois, located southeast of Rockford, Illinois, and encompasses approximately 25 square miles. The District serves the Village of Cherry Valley and unincorporated areas of Winnebago and Boone Counties.

The Cherry Valley Fire Protection District is a multi-function fire protection and a life-safety organization providing fire, emergency, medical, and other life safety services to those who reside, work, and travel through the area.

The District maintains two fire stations, as well as a regional training facility and employing 19 full-time employees and approximately 30 paid on call (POC) employees.
